Before Finley was born we decided to shoot a short video to describe not only how we were feeling as we anticipated the birth, but to document our experience to that point in the fertility process.

Then we pondered putting that on youtube.  Why not?  Maybe other moms-to-be could relate.  It was just us, sitting in what would become Finley's nursery, chatting about the pregnancy.  Was it interesting?  Perhaps to someone.

Then we shot another video.  Might as well put that one on youtube too.

And now almost 14,000 views later, we realize folks want to talk about babies.  Or, they're bored at work and random youtube videos kill some good time. 

First things first.  Chicken in a Biscuit crackers are amazing.  I ate them growing up at my Grandma Dorothy's house, and I've recently revisited the greatness.  What in the world is that mystery flavor?  It doesn't taste like biscuits nor does it taste like chicken.  It doesn't even taste like salty crackers.  There is something deep about this little American wonder and I'm so happy the cracker people are still cranking out the boxes.  Also happy that Kroger had them on sale.  This was my moment of pure joy this afternoon.

I used to love Jenny time so much.  I had time to write, to think, to read, and to exercise.  Now it seems when I start one of these tasks I'm in doubt as to whether or not I will be able to see it to completion.  "Mama?"  Yes Finley.  I'm here.

Given the constant state of interruption in a mom's life (which we've chatted about before), wanna guess what simple household task took me 4 hours to complete yesterday?
