How to make babies Print E-mail

It's Sunday morning at 7am.  Kallan woke up at 6 so I got up to feed her.  She's back in bed and no one else is awake, so I have a few minutes of quiet time.  Oh the pressure to do something cool with it!  Quiet time is so rare with two kids under 2, not to mention having jobs, laundry, and dishes to conquer.

I watched a Cynthia Brazelton sermon on TV with today's free time.  She was talking about our creative power being inspired by God and she added, "What comes to be will be whatever you say it is."  Even when we feel powerless, we have power.  I needed to hear it.

I love my sister dearly, but there were days when we were growing up that we didn't even want to look at each other.  I still have a scar on my hand from the day she dug her nails in and scratched as hard as she could before I pulled away, and I'm sure her nose still hurts from our pretend boxing match that got a little heated.  Scrapping and fighting just makes the relationship deeper I suppose, and that's why most siblings go at it.  Things are great now, and any talk of past wounds is just funny.

So here's a pic of my little gals before they realize they should start fighting.  I'll remember this day!  Sweet kisses.
