It's snowing in the Dallas area today, and Angela and Finley just built an enormous snowman.  Angela is off work because of the weather so she has time to play. 

As Angela was grunting and desparately trying to lift a huge snowball off the ground to create the snowman's trunk, I asked, "Why so big?" 

With all sorts of childlike enthusiasm she said, "Because I can!"

Who am I to stand in the way of this unbridled passion and joy.

It seems like every day Finley is learning a new word.  And she's starting to put sentences together.

I have no idea what the vocabulary markers are that she's supposed to be hitting at this age, but if you're a mom maybe you can compare and relate.
