I've mentioned before that this pregnancy is turning me into a blood thirsty freak.  Now I'm not so sure it's the need for gore as much as it is the need for practice.  By watching the labor and birth shows, I hope to become a master of childbrith!  I bet I've watched 450 births so far.

I just got back from Dr. Burt's office, and it was another warm jelly visit.  I love that warm jelly!  Jelly on the belly so the heartbeat can come through the Doppler loud and clear.  The blue goo is slightly warmer than body temperature and it's so comforting.  When I'm no longer pregnant I may microwave some vaseline and rub it on my abdomen just for the sooth factor.
