The nephews are in town, so we have 4 kids under the age of 5 this weekend.  There are 4 adults to manage the chaos, but somehow it feels like we are overwhelmingly outnumbered.

 The house at times this weekend sounds like a daycare with trucks rolling, fake vacuums popping, and tons of laughing, crying, and screaming.  Somehow in the madness I managed to get the most sleep I've had since Thanksgiving.  Thanks GOD!  I was feeding Kallan at midnight and she was fussing and grunting and wouldn't go back to sleep and in that moment of frustration and crisis Angela volunteered to take her to the living room, sleep on the couch, and handle the next feedings.  What an amazing spouse.  My 4 hours of sleep per night just weren't cuttin' it and I had reached the end of the road.  Thanks to her sacrifice, I was able to crash for 8 hours.  I feel like a new, functioning human being today.  Tonight is my night to be the good spouse.

So back to the family now.  We're watching Juliette Lewis and the Licks on Direct TV right now.  Ummm...not the best band I've ever heard by highly entertaining.  The kids are napping and we're bonding with Angela's sis.  Soon it will be all about the NFL playoffs.  Go COLTS!  I'm wearing Peyton Manning gear for the rest of the day.  And Cowboys tomorrow.
